Oddio, come mi state guardando!
Sto solo scattando una foto, per ricordare per sempre questo momento.
A dire il vero non so dove eravamo, cinquant’anni fa, cosa stavamo aspettando su quella panchina.
Ma guardandola adesso, mi sembra che mi interroghiate su tutta la mia vita, su tutto quello che ho fatto, e non fatto, in questi anni.
Se potessi sedermi lì, di nuovo insieme a voi, vicino a te papà, penso che ne parleremmo sì, ma sorridendo: più importante sarebbe essere di nuovo tutti e quattro insieme, anche per un solo momento.

I’m just taking a picture, to remember this moment forever.
Actually, I don’t know where we were, fifty years ago, what we were waiting for on that bench.
But looking at it now, I feel like I am being questioned about my whole life, about everything I have done, and not done, over the years.
If I could sit there, with you again, next to you Dad, I think we would talk about it, yes, but smiling: more important would be all four of us being together again, even for a single moment.
